My Family Story
The Van Hout Name
Dutch surname meaning: "timber", or "of the wood", a topographic name for someone living in a forest, or habitational name from a place named with this word.
My great grandfather was a farmer and brought his family to America in 1887. My grandfather was a carpenter and my father, though not a carpenter, was very skilled working with wood also.
As you can see, woodworking is in my genes!
Back the Blue Promotion
To show my support for Law Enforcement Officers, I gave a free cross wall hanging to any LEO who asked for one. I only asked they pay shipping if necessary. I also made them with a red stripe for fire fighters. I delivered over 20 of them, most for no cost other than shipping. Email me for details if you would like one.
